A painted portrait should be more than just a snapshot. That is why Debora - if possible - prefers to meet and study the sitter, instead of working solely from a picture. She listens to your wishes, makes a series of photographs and a sketch concept. If you approve of the concept, Debora can start painting with high quality materials.

In many layers and with subtie colour nuances she will build a lively portrait. In the process Debora searches for a facial expression that can be interpreted in several ways, to keep the portrait interesting.

When the portrait is nearly finished she would like to see the sitter again and maybe make a few adjustments. The portrait will be varnished once you are happy with it.

For commissions abroad she can also work from quality photographs, shot from various angles.
